2022 Color My Heart with Peace Result Announcement

We are thrilled to announce the winners of The 3rd “Color My Heart with Peace,” an international children art competition.

On behalf of the International President, Dr. Julia H. Moon, I would like to thank everyone who participated in the “2022 Color My Heart with Peace” International Children’s Art Contest. A total of 232 applications were submitted representing 24 nations in 10 regions. The applications supported the theme of “Peace and Unification in North and South Korea.”

The Color My Heart with Peace project is based on the founder’s vision of achieving peace and unity through a culture of the heart based on living for the sake of others. We are happy and moved that so many participants used the power of art to create a better future and express their desire for peace through the images on the canvas.

The finalists were determined by an Evaluation Team, which included Prof. Na Hyoung-Min, Prof. Katarzyna Minollari, and Dr. Paris Moon. Each application was evaluated in four areas: (1) Creativity  30% (2) Interpretation of the theme  30% (3) Overall impression of the artwork 20% (4) Facebook likes 20%.

We would like to express our appreciation to WFWP International President Dr. Julia Moon for her full support in implementing this creative project toward a larger vision of peace not only on the Korean Peninsula but for the whole world.

Once again, we thank you for your participation in the contest and for your significant contribution to the unification of North and South Korea, and your voice for the realization of a sustainable and peaceful world through art. We look forward to seeing you at the awards ceremony on July 30 at 8 p.m. KST. Please join

The peace art competition project for children hosted by the Women’s Federation for World Peace International (WFWPI) was launched on May 17th, 2021.

This year’s winners’ categories are divided into two age groups: 7-9 years old and 10-13 years old. Many children, parents, and teachers from all over the world submitted their entries, and we received 146 masterpieces from 31 countries. The works were reviewed and evaluated by a panel of judges: Prof. Hyoung Min Na and Prof. Mee Na Park of Kyung Hee University. The evaluation was based on the following criteria: creativity 30%, interpretation of the theme 30%, overall impression of the work 20%, and Facebook likes 20%.

In addition to the judging criteria, a total of 82 winners were selected, including 2 Gold, 2 Silver, 2 Bronze, 16 Merit, and 60 Achievement Award winners, taking into account age, country of participation, and other factors. Chiara Castellon (8 y.o.) from Argentine and Isabella Holdhus (12 y.o.) from Norway were chosen to be the proud Gold Winners of the 2nd “Color My Heart with Peace” contest.
